Our trip from Florence to Nice was excellent, we saw the italian and french riviera. We are very happy with our option to take the train for our travel through the EU. The train is so much comfortable than the bus or the plane, we can stand, walk around during the whole trip, the seats are very spacious and comfortable it has a restaurant car what give us more options.
When we arrived in Nice we immediately went to the beach its so much
different to the beaches in Brazil and Australia, it has rocks everywhere yonies , similar to Rome, Nice has a lot of private beaches. You have to pay to entry its not cheap. The public beaches are a small part of the beach front. We think that Nice is similar to a beach resort, with a lot of shops and restaurant. 
When we left Italy with its beautiful and amazing antique monuments, delicious meals everywhere and tourists all over the place, the transition to France (Nice) we are having a lot of difficulties to adapt to the new language and the new culture but this is the objective of our voyage - to try and understand the different cultures of the globe.
