Tower of Pisa and Duomo in Florence

Today we took the train to Pisa approximately 1 hour from Florence. The tower, the cathedral and the baptistery formed a beautiful view its a strange site a 60 metre building with a 4 metre lean. Its amazing. The Tower of Pisa is the bell tower of the Cathedral. Its construction began in the august of 1173 and continued for about two hundred years and started to incline during its construction, because of faulty foundations , from 1173 up to the present the Tower has been the object of very special attention all the buildings have been restored to there former glory, just stunning.
When we came back to Florence we then visited the most important Church in florence: the Basilic of Santa Maria del Fiore and the baptistery, marvelous feats of achitecture and engineering it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to have visited the site.
