Amsterdams canals

We saw Amsterdam from the canals. We took a "Hop on hop off" boat tour what takes three different routes around Amsterdam. Its so lovely to see the old houses, museums, parks and people with their bicycle from the canal. There are interesting comments traveling along the best-known canals and all the stops are close to museums, attractions and shopping areas.
If you go to Amsterdam I really would recommend you to rent a bicycle and ride around the city. You can go to the museum, bars, restaurants, theatre or stay along the canals for lunch or just to do nothing.
Holland has 15.000km of cycle paths. Three quarters of the population speak a foreign language (usualy English). Amsterdam has 2500 registered house-boat moarings, the council has decided to call a halt to more house boat moarings.
