Rotterdam

We arrived in Rotterdam and went direct to hotel - after check-in we went to a restaurant to have lunch then back to hotel to relax. We had a very busy 3 days in Helmond. The next day we spent a whole day in Rotterdam. Around Rotterdam - a walking tour, we visited museums shops and the big port. When the Germans came to Rotterdam they completely destroyed the town, flattened it, then after the war finished Rotterdam for the next few decades rebuilt the town. It is a unique architecture in Holland. It is a multicultural city with a lot of Africans. Peter enjoyed the most was the maritime museum and many boats from by gone days machinery. Its excellent. The Maas river in Rotterdam is the same river that we saw in Maastricht.
