Auschwitz and Birkenan

We went and visited the two worst places on earth Auschwitz and Birkenan a place of horror torture and despair. The location of these concentration camps were considered most favourable because of the railway junction which is located there central to Europe's Jewish population and it was away from any major towns or cities, the Nazi party razed the small towns around Auschwitz to keep it all secret. At Auschwitz inside one of the prison barracks there is an exhibit portraying photos and personal items and other objects of the prisoners. Auschwitz a place we have all heard of and would like to visit just to believe that it all happened, well what a sad and miserable place it is now imagine what it was like then, we saw photos of prisoners hundreds of them in one of the barrack the people were devoid of any expression life or hope, it left us feeling quite inept, we saw the gas chamber and crematorium in Auschwitz being the only surviving one, all the others were destroyed by the Nazis to try to hide the evidence the whole experience left quite confused at why just because of religion? why is your religion better then mine it only a belief ..........
