Krakow

Our travel by train to Krakow was good however the train was much slower compared to modern Central Europe. Our first image of Poland was at the border when five police men entered to ask for our passports. We never had to show our passports in any of our train travel throughout Europe.
Our apt in Krakow is new and very comfortable Peter is very happy because it has satellite TV which has more than 300 channels to choose from.
The old medieval centre of Krakow is very beautiful its surrounded by a park but in times gone by there was a defence a defence wall around the city with 8 entry gates where now only one survives gate ST Florian the gate is close to the Barbican, a round brick defence fort with 3 metres thick walls and being part of the oldest defence of the city. Everything is different and beautiful.
