Medieval square

The Krakow square one of the largest medieval squares in Europe. There is the wonderful St Mary's church one of the most important Gothic architectural monuments in Poland. There are two towers the highest is 80m. the other is 60m. Every hour there is a trumpeter playing a melody in the upper most part of the tower. At night the effect of the two towers under light is wonderful. In the middle of the square there is a big building called "Cloth Hall" it was the National Museum of Poland before, today there is a big market in its hallways. Next to "cloth hall" there is the town hall tower and on the other side of square there is another small church called St Adalbert. There are a lot of restaurant around the square, the square is a very busy place all day. The "Krakow music festival" started this week and the square has been a buzz of music song and dance its a hip place to be at, at this time of the year very enjoyable...
