Bratislava, Vienna and Danube River

Early in the morning we travelled to Bratislava. It's a small city that looks like Prague with small streets and old buildings. Bratislava is a cheaper city compared to the rest of the EU. We were very busy for the two days that we were there for. We thought that we would have a rest but the following day we decided to go to Vienna, the capital of Austria by a fast catamaran - 50km per hour - along the beautiful Danube river a delightful cruise. Along the river there are traditional small shacks on stilts which now are used as weekenders. The Danube is approximately 2000 km. long - it starts in Germany and ends in the black sea - a large river with fast flowing water alot of cargo travels up and down the river alot of the river reminds us of the Amazon river. The boat trip took 1 and half hours each way. Vienna is a musical city with a lot of theatres, operas and a lot of big and wonderful buildings. Vienna is a expensive city, they use the Euro. We had a good day however it was 40 degrees and it was and effort to do tourism. We have had this weather since Krakow.
